I spend a lot of time wandering shorelines, peering into tide pools and studying the patterns left behind as the tide retreats. Alluvium grew from those moments of quiet observation.
Created through a layered process combining cyanotype, watercolor, metallic pigments, mica, and bubbles, this original shifts with the light. Gold and copper recall the impressions shells leave on wet rock, while deep blues and soft greens suggest hidden pools, submerged stone, and the ever-changing edge between land and sea.
Like the shoreline itself, each piece created with this process is entirely unique.
