So, I've created the Ocean Devotion Mail Club!
Each month, I'll choose something from the ocean or shore that fascinates me—a creature, place, phenomenon, discovery, or story—and explore it through art and science.
You'll receive a collectible 5 × 7 art print, along with an illustrated Field Note, where I'll share some of the fascinating, surprising, strange, or just plain wonderful things I've discovered about that month's subject.

What's inside?
Every Ocean Devotion Mail Club mailing includes:
A signed, collectible 5 × 7 art print, professionally printed in full color and specially marked on the reverse as part of the Mail Club series
An illustrated Field Note exploring the art, science, stories, and fascinating details behind that month's subject
A themed extra, such as a sticker, bookmark, mini artwork, or whatever else that month's exploration inspires me to make
And because art can mean all sorts of things, you never quite know what other surprise might occasionally find its way into the envelope!

About your guide
I'm Marlo Garnsworthy—an award-winning nonfiction author and scientific illustrator, artist, and science communicator.
I've spent much of my career turning my fascination with the natural world into books, illustrations, and art, and I've been lucky enough to work alongside scientists on research expeditions to some extraordinary places, including Antarctica.
Mostly, I'm incurably curious about the ocean, polar regions, and shorelines.
Ocean Devotion Mail Club is where I have great fun bringing all those things together—art, words, science, and exploration—and sending the results to you through the post.
Ocean Devotion Mail Club Issue 001
Our first Mail Club expedition takes us into the extraordinary world of manta rays.
Graceful giants with enormous wingspans, manta rays have the largest brains of any fish, form social relationships, visit underwater cleaning stations—and have individual spot patterns that researchers can use rather like fingerprints.
But these remarkable animals also face serious threats, making them a perfect place to begin our journey through art, science, and the ocean.
Issue 001 will mail around the middle of November.
