Tidal Pink, from my The Beach Is an Artist series, captures an extraordinary convergence of rippled sand, sweeping lines, and softly sculpted forms. Its delicate palette of shell pink, silver, lavender-grey, and muted bronze gives the photograph a quiet, almost otherworldly quality.

The series grew from my enduring fascination with the beach as both canvas and artist. Each image began with a fleeting pattern I discovered along a shoreline and photographed before the elements transformed it again.
