Tidal Gold, from my The Beach Is an Artist series, captures the delicate lines and shifting layers formed where sand and water meet. Soft gold, blue-grey, and silvery tones give this coastal photograph a serene, naturally abstract quality.

The series grew from my enduring fascination with the beach as both canvas and artist. Each image began with a fleeting pattern I discovered along a shoreline and photographed before the elements transformed it again.
