Tidal Blue, from my The Beach Is an Artist series, captures graceful channels and sweeping lines formed as water retreats across the sand. Its layered palette of soft blue, slate, and blue-grey gives this naturally abstract coastal photograph a sense of movement, depth, and ocean calm.
The series grew from my enduring fascination with the beach as both canvas and artist. Each image began with a fleeting pattern I discovered along a shoreline and photographed before the elements transformed it again.
